This is an antique, hand-colored copperplate engraving from Johann Christoph Volckamer’s botanical work Nürnbergische Hesperides, published between 1708 and 1714. The print features a large illustration of a lime (specifically, the internal view of a Lima verrucosa), shown hovering above a detailed landscape view of the Palazzo del N.H. Obizzo alla Battaglia.
